1) Who we are (Controller)

2) What we collect
Account & contact: name, email, password hash, age confirmation, address if you win.
Competition & transaction: selected numbers, order IDs, amounts, Stripe payment references (we do not store full card details).
Usage & security: IP address, device/browser data, timestamps, server logs.
Communications: emails/support messages you send us.
Marketing (optional): your opt-in preferences.
3) Why we use it (legal bases)
Contract: to run competitions, take entries, process payments, notify winners, and dispatch prizes.
Legitimate interests / Legal obligation: to prevent fraud, keep our service secure, and maintain business records.
Consent: to send marketing emails if you opt in (you can unsubscribe anytime).
4) Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as an independent controller for payment data. We receive tokens/metadata and payment status, not card numbers.
5) Sharing
We share personal data only with:
- Payment processor: Stripe.
- Hosting, email and IT providers acting under contract.
- Law enforcement/regulators where required by law.
We do not sell personal data.
6) International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we use appropriate safeguards (UK Addendum to EU SCCs or adequacy decisions).
7) Retention
Account/transaction data: up to 6 years after your last transaction (tax/audit).
Winner verification & prize records: 6 years.
Support emails: 2 years.
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
8) Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and request portability. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise rights, email support@vaultcomps.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9) Cookies
We use only essential cookies necessary to run the site (e.g., session, security). We do not set analytics or marketing cookies without consent. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and present a consent banner.
10) Age
This service is for 18+ UK residents. We may request age/ID verification before awarding prizes.
11) Security
We use industry-standard security (TLS, restricted access, signed webhooks). No method is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.
